Top 10 porridge recipes you have to try!

Porridge is super convenient, don’t you think? It takes seconds to prepare in the morning (or you can make it ahead the night before), tastes delicious and gives you long-term energy that we all need each day. I used to be a smoothie girl a while back, but during the summer months I actually switched to a more starch-based diet and I surely don’t regret it. First of all, I feel fuller longer. Second, I eat smaller portions, which is obviously healthier than stuffing your face with everything you’ve got on hand. And third, I don’t have to take huge amounts of food to school with me. I think I am not the only one who thinks that THIS is amazing ahaha.

Here I have for you my top 10 oatmeal/porridge recipes that you can obviously make with oats or millet, rice or any other flakes your heart desire. These are super easy and don’t cost you a hand and a leg. Enjoy! Continue reading

Protein Pancakes | Vegan and Gluten-free

Pancakes are the ultimate Sunday breakfast food and I think everyone – both meat eaters and vegans – can agree on this. And as satisfying and pleasant it is to indulge on original pancakes full of gluten and sugar and all that, it is even more satisfying when you know you can feast guilt free!

Millet and Carrot Patties | Vegan Dinner Idea

Long overdue but it is finally here! The recipe for my carrot and millet patties.

I came up with this recipe on my way home I guess when I wanted some kind of a patty for dinner. It was inspired by my friend’s mom who made millet patties for dinner when I visited them. So sweet of her to make me a vegan dinner, thank you so so much! Continue reading

2016 round-up

I’m utterly excited for 2017. This is going to be a fresh new start for me. I am going to study hard, make friends and finally be truly happy. I am not saying that I am not happy now, but I feel like I lack something. No, it’s not like I am saying “when I get this and that I’ll be happy” it’s just…

Mom’s Vegan Barlotto

Hi guys! Long time no see!

I’m really sorry for not posting for I don’t know… a month maybe? I started university as you all probably know and it’s been really hectic trying to organise my time and to get good grades and to sleep. Yes, that’s a problem too ahaha. But fortunately enough I’ve got a whole week off uni due to the All Saint’s Day here in Poland and I either have a statutorily free day or my lecturers called their classes off. So now I have the time to talk to you and, as much as I don’t want to believe it, to study. But enough about me, how were you all doing? Are you happy? Is everything okay? Tell me in the comments, I’d love to hear from you! Continue reading

9 things I love about Fall

Fall is a weird season. It is neither warm nor cold (although right now it is around 30 degrees each day at the beginning of September :P). It is a transition. Many people don’t like it because of its gloominess, me included, but I think tat every season of the year deserves some love. Don’t you think? Continue reading

Trip to Wrocław (Breslau) | Day 2

Day 2 was spent at the Zoo. We heard many great reviews of that place in Wrocław so we treated it as a must-see and went there on our first day. In the morning, we had a delicious breakfast. I had instant oats for the first time. I know, right??? And they were absolutely delicious and so convenient! I’m utterly amazed ahaha. I added to them some chia seeds, coconut rice milk, goji berries, shredded coconut, raisins, dried pineapple chunks and fresh dates. And no, I did not buy everything here, I took all this with me from home. Well, I only bought oats here. And potatoes, rice, veggies, fruit and spices. Continue reading

Trip to Wrocław (Breslau) | DAY 1

I planned this trip back in June 2016 with my boyfriend, yet my plans had to be changed because we broke up in July. Fortunate enough, all the tickets and rooms were booked at my name so I could go but had to find someone else to go with me instead. And here my best friend comes in. She said she would love to come with me and so here we are!
