The Best Low Fat Vegan Chili

chili-sin-carne

Here it is. The best vegan chili sin carne. And I am about to share the recipe with you.

Maybe you know it already or maybe not but when it comes to cooking I don’t measure anything by spoons etc I just eye-ball it. Hence it’s hard for me to tell you the exact measurements in this recipe, but I’ll try my best! So please feel free to add less spices at the beginning and then build them up to your liking. This way you are making sure you don’t add too much. It’ always easier to add more than to take away, right? Continue reading

Adventures | Vegan food market

Oh my… That day was one of my favourites so far.

It started off with a good night’s sleep. I woke up refreshed and ready to embark on some foodie adventures. For breakfast I had a delicious and filling bowl of bananas, oat cereal and almond milk. So good. It may sound weird to you but I really enjoy doing makeup although I don’t put it on everyday. (Since I was 11 or 12 I was binge-watching makeup tutorials on youtube. Yup… but only this year did I start actually putting on makeup and filling okay with it. And watching these videos really gave me some ideas on how to do it so I don’t look like a hot mess today ahaha.) Before leaving I put on some foundation, bronzer, eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara and done my nails too because they really needed some love. And it felt so nice to pamper myself and make myself look nice and put-together.

I like school & why you should too

I know that for many people school is a torment and they utterly hate it. But it doesn’t have to be so. School can be fun, you just have to focus on the right things. Here’s my point of view and my story, maybe it would give you some ideas on how to actually enjoy school :)

School has always been a big part of my life. Everything happened at school. I spent most of my time there playing with kids, talking, studying, having fun. Even though I’m a bit tired of studying I am still looking forward to it. I am looking forward to meeting new people and socializing. Continue reading

The best baked potatoes | Vegan & Oil-free

These are with tandoori masala

As well all know potatoes are any starch based vegan best friend. So delicious, healthy, nutritious, filling… What more could you ask for? Oh, super easy to make too. All potatoes are amazing, sweet or normal, all kinds. However, I have only tried normal potatoes and normal sweet potatoes (orange on the inside) but I am sure I would love other kinds too! I love baked potatoes the most. Even if the particular variety you are using does not taste the best, you can turn it into a super tasty meal just by baking them. But I also love love love boiled and steamed potatoes. Yet, the variety has to be good on its own otherwise I would not like them at all. Continue reading

The Versatile Blogger Award!

Thank you Chloe Louise so much for nominating me for this award! This award is great for finding out about new small bloggers around the interne and I am really happy to be a part of it :)

So here are 7 random facts about me:

  1. I am terribly lazy. I have to force myself to do stuff whether it be workout, school or sometimes even reading!
  2. I am very shy and I have no clue how to strike a conversation let alone make it last.
  3. Even though I’m lazy I like school. Mainly because I have a strict plan of what I have to do and when, which keeps me being productive and motivated.
  4. My favorite subjects are Maths, Chemistry and parts of Biology (human and nutrition mainly).
  5. I love hiking and traveling. My biggest dream is to go somewhere only with my backpack and a friend and see the world without worrying about school or work.
  6. I am terrified of spiders like nothing else in this world. I’m scared when I see them walking on the floor and in a terrarium… basically anywhere.
  7. I loooooove food. I love eating it of course and cooking it. I am always super excited when I finally can cook my dinner :3

9 things I love about Fall

Fall is a weird season. It is neither warm nor cold (although right now it is around 30 degrees each day at the beginning of September :P). It is a transition. Many people don’t like it because of its gloominess, me included, but I think tat every season of the year deserves some love. Don’t you think? Continue reading

Trip to Wrocław (Breslau) | My computer crashed!

OK. So on the same day that I posted the previous post so day 4 of my trip my computer crashed. I don’t know what happened but as soon as I logged in as any user the desktop started to blink like crazy – it went from normal to black on and on. The only thing I was able to do was to click ctrl-alt-del. The screen stopped blinking then but when I clicked on  the windows task manager it came back to my usual desktop but the task manager would not open. It opened only once the first time I opened me laptop and it showed that my processor is used up to 99%! I was freaking out so I called my dad, who was at my uncle’s house because they both have worked in the computer industry their whole lives and they did not know how to help me. I was even unable to open Continue reading

Trip to Wrocław (Breslau) | Day 4

Today we wanted to see the old town and the market square a bit more as we did not do that yesterday because of the roasting heat. After eating oats for breakfast we headed off to the old town. We heard that there was a monument commemorating livestock and animal slaughter. But before we found it we stepped into a beautiful church. As I mentioned in my previous post I have a thing for churches, especially old like the Romanesque ones. And churches in Wrocław are out of this world. Most of them were built using bricks outside and inside but their walls inside are painted white. In windows, beautiful stained glass is interposed. The church feels in no way heavy or overwhelming, rather it feels light and as if I was closer to God. It is such a beautiful feeling that I just do not want to exit the church at any time. Trip to Wrocław (Breslau) | Day 3

Today’s morning started with a shower and two delicious bowls of oatmeal. Just a little update – I am loving starch-based diet recently and I am really seeing these additional kilograms that I have gained eating mostly fruit coming off! I can do an update on my diet after a month or more :)

Anyhow.

After breakfast we headed off to see the Centennial Hall in Wrocław that was built in 1913 as a venue for organising exhibitions, sports events etc and as a place for democracy to thrive. It survived the World War II, during which it was a place of Hitler’s informative gatherings and speeches. After the War it was changed into a place of soviet propaganda. Soviets also build a 106m high spike to celebrate the Exhibition of Recovered Territories. Right now the spike is in renovation so we did not see it in its full glory, Continue reading
